UCF ID Card or Badge Mailing Policy and Requirements

If you are a law enforcement officer or your address is considered highly restricted under UCF Policy 4-008.1, do not use this form. Instead, please call (407) 823-2100.

There are Card Offices at Rosen, UCF Cocoa, West Campus (Valencia), Osceola (Valencia), Daytona, and UCF Downtown campuses. If you are not near one of these campuses and you are enrolled in UCF classes off-campus(online), you may request your UCF Card by mail ONLY if you meet one of the following:

  • Student enrolled for the current semester
  • FTIC or Transfer student who has attended Orientation or received an invitation from ucf@onlinephotosubmission.com requesting your photo
  • Staff or faculty after your effective start date
  • Affiliate with a UCF sponsored account

Subject to a $5 mailing fee. Additional charge may apply for replacement cards and badges.

To receive your ID card via mail, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Fill out and submit a request form. Please note that all correspondence will be sent to your official @ucf.edu address. Your request will be reviewed shortly and if approved, you will be sent a link to submit a digital photograph as well as a government issued ID from UCF Card Services (UCF@onlinephotosubmission.com). Your photo and proof of identity will be reviewed and approved or denied within 24-48 hours of upload.
  2. If you are not eligible for your requested ID card or badge, you will receive an email with the cancellation reason shortly after your submission.
  3. If you are attending an Orientation through FYE, you will automatically receive an invite to submit a photograph one week before your scheduled Orientation date. We advise that you wait until then to submit your card mailing request. Please note, that all photo submission invites are emailed to you @ucf.edu address. Please be sure to check that account inbox including the spam folder to retrieve your invite.
  4. After your mailing request has been reviewed and your photo has been approved, you will be sent a mailing payment request. The request includes a mailing fee plus any additional applicable fees.
  5. Once payment has been received, your ID card will be printed and mailed to you within 24-48 hours, however, processing your request may involve additional time based on the volume of requests we receive.

The actual mailing process is subject to factors, such as weekends, holidays, on campus mail processing, and the United States Postal Service. It is difficult to estimate the exact amount of time it will take to receive your ID. Generally, it will take 7-10 business days to receive your card after you have completed the payment process.
